BUSINESS AFTER HOURS/MEMBERSHIP – We can always use a hand contacting members about renewing their membership and calling on new businesses.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE – Annually, new board members are selected and there is a nominating process. If you are interested in serving or know someone else who is, let this committee know. We’re always delighted to see new faces!

YOUTH COMMITTEE – This fine group arranges the Children’s Christmas Party and Easter Egg Hunt each year. Helping hands are always welcome.

COMMUNICATOR COMMITTEE – We always welcome any articles that you would like to write as long as they are fair minded & not one sided. Just fax, 352-383-9343, or email, chamber@elcchamber.com, it to the Chamber Office and as space permits we will include them.

GROUNDS COMMITTEE – This committee handles updating the signage for monthly events as well as decorating for the holidays. Can you help? Call the Chamber Office, 352/383-8801.

AWARD COMMITTEE – A quarterly award is presented by our Chamber to the business which presents an inviting appearance which helps to beautify our community. This committee also gives many awards after judging for the annual Christmas Light Up Contest. Locating those deserving awards takes a little time and we can always use help with this.

DIRECTOR’S CHRISTMAS PARTY COMMITTEE – An annual event for our Directors to show them how much we appreciate their efforts.

INSTALLATION BANQUET COMMITTEE – The annual banquet is held in January and much planning goes into it. The committee chairperson can always use a helping hand with decorations & organization.

GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE – Any local governmental news is welcome so we can keep updated.

FESTIVAL COMMITTEE – Each year, we have a Fall Fest and also a Spring Fest. This entails much preparation ahead of the event and the more hands, the better!

GOLF TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE – Annually, we donate the proceeds of this worthy event toward scholarships for local students who submit a winning essay. We have provided many students with the opportunity to further their education. The planning which goes into this Fall event takes many months and if you have any interest in golf or helping our students, please let us know and we can surely put you to work.
